| Description: | North Texas Bass Camp 15th Annual Beginners and Intermediate Bass Camp The Beginners and Intermediate Bass Camp (15th Annual) is designed for any aged beginner or intermediate player providing lots of playing and lots of fun. Students are challenged to expand their technical capabilities, to develop their musical expression and to learn about the repertoire, history and maintenance of their instrument. Students study with some of the top teachers of young bassists in the country and perform together in a grand finale Bass Bash Concert. Arrival – Departure: Registration/check-in begins at 8:00am on Wednesday, June 10 and the final concert ends at approximately 9:15pm on Friday, June 12. Students are welcome to arrive Tuesday evening or early Wednesday morning and depart any time after the concert ends on Friday. If necessary, students may stay overnight Friday night and depart on Saturday morning. Underage supervision and assistance is provided for Tuesday check-in and Saturday departure. | Presenter(s): | Participants will have the opportunity to work with Mr. Bradetich as well as outstanding teachers Gudrun Raschen – University of North Texas and Jessica Gilliam-Valls – Austin, TX and Jack Unzicker – UT - Arlington. Rumano Solano will be present with his beautifully handcrafted double basses for sale and partial proceeds goes back to the Bradetich Foundation and student scholarships. |
