Bio: | For the last 16 years I have worked as A Certified Music Practioner at the Moffitt Cancer Center Arts In Medicine Program in Tampa Florida where I play unaccompanied bass violin for patients, families and visitor at the hospital and outpatient facilities. Prior to working in Arts In Medicine I played with the Florida Orchestra for 21 years as a section bassist. My education includes Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Miami School of Music in Music Performance as well as Performance and Teaching Diplomas from The Rabbath Institute. I have attended Bass Workshops almost every year for the past quarter century in Maryland with George Vance and Francois Rabbath as well as in Kansas City. with Rabbath and Johnny Hamil. Through these workshops I have had the privilege to work with and learn from an extended family of fantastic bassists and amazing humans. I have written 2 volumes of music for my work in AIM as well as sharing this music online with people and bassists around the world. I am looking forward to meeting you at the ISB Convention next year! | |
