Announcing the 2026 ISB Jane Little Scholarship

The ISB Jane Little Scholarship is offered to an incoming freshman student who identifies as a woman for undergraduate study at a college, university or conservatory in the USA. Applicants do not have to live in the U.S.

The recipient of The ISB Jane Little Scholarship will be a music performance or music education major with double bass as her primary instrument.

The $10,000 scholarship, made possible by the generous support of an anonymous donor, is given in honor and memory of Jane Little, former member of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and celebrated as one of the longest serving professional orchestra musicians in the world.

Applicants are required to complete the application using the Acceptd platform. There is a $35 application fee. ISB membership is not required. ISB members members can receive a promo code to apply online without payment by emailing . Not an ISB member yet? A one-year digital membership starts at $30.
