Andy Moritz is a double bass educator in Houston, TX. He is the director of an intensive lesson studio, an active clinician throughout Texas, has served as an ASTA Masterclass Clinician, and is a repeat presenter at both the Texas Music Educators Association and Texas Orchestra Directors Association. 

Andy holds a Masters Degree in Double Bass Performance & Pedagogy and a Bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of Houston, a lifetime Texas teaching certificate from TEA, and has registered Suzuki Bass training with the Suzuki Association of the Americas.

Andy is the author of “Scale Skills: A Systematic Approach to Skills Development for the Double Bass.”
