Bio:

Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, bassist Aaron White began his musical studies in the public school system after moving to Irving, Texas.  He earned his bachelor's degree at Southern Methodist University and his master's degree at Duquesne Univeristy.  His primary teachers include Thomas Lederer and Jeffrey Turner.

In 2009, Aaron joined the bass section of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra after briefly playing in the Louisville Orchestra and Florida Orchestra. 

In 2015, he returned to Duquesne University as an adjunct professor of double bass, and in 2020 he also became the string area coordinator. 

Aaron has given classes and recitals at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Pennsylvania State University, Carnegie Mellon University, Southern Methodist University, and DePaul University.
