| Bio: | Dr. Brian Del Bianco is an audiologist as well as a very active performing bassist in Ohio. He completed the Doctor of Audiology degree in 2022, after decades as a freelance electric and double bassist. As an audiologist, he works with patients to diagnosis hearing problems and to counsel them to navigate forward with hearing amplification, if needed. As a bassist, he is a contract member of the Akron and Canton Symphonies in addition to performances with a myriad of regional musical organizations. A 2020 video collaboration with EarthQuaker Devices was released internationally, showing the possibilites of the double bass' traditional repertoire with effect pedals. Dr. Brian is passionate about hearing conservation, but also understands that some music needs to be loud. It is his hope that musicians will learn ways to NOT need his services as an audiologist. | |
