This convention registration is entered into by the attendee in consideration of the use of the facilities of Florida State University during the ISB 2025 Convention. It is understood and agreed that all facilities of Florida State University will be used by attendees at their sole risk, and that attendees shall hold Florida State University and its trustees, and the International Society of Bassists and their board members and staff harmless for personal injury or property damage resulting from participation in the ISB 2025 Convention, either on and off the premises of the University. By registering for this convention, the attendee agrees to abide by the rules of the University and the ISB and agrees to use of his or her image and audio clips (no complete performances) in the ISB's publications, on its website, and in its communications. The University and the ISB reserve the right to eject any disruptive person(s) from the campus and the University and the ISB will not be liable for any refunds or damages that might be sustained through the exercise of this right. |

Non-Bassist Family Member / Guest / Chaperone
All convention attendees MUST wear a name badge. Complimentary badges may be provided by ISB for non-bassist family members, guests, and chaperones. Bassists must be current members of the ISB and register for the convention. Non-bassist collaborative musicians, family members, chaperones, or other guests receive a complimentary badge.
We understand the real sacrifices it takes to come to an event like this for students and parents / chaperones, and work very hard to make it not just worthwhile, but in fact unforgettable. Most students who attend the Young Bassists and ISB Next Generation programs come to the convention with their parents or a chaperone. Parents / chaperones find that the programs, concerts, and events are often of great interest to them, as well. All non-bassist family members of young bassists will be provided with complimentary badges to the entire convention.
Other non-youth convention attendees are welcome to bring along non-bassist family members or guests if they desire.

Noontime Bass Jam Player Survey
Open to Bassists of Age 18 and Older, of All Abilities
It happens Tuesday through Friday from Noon to 2 PM! All bassists registered for the convention age 18 and up, of all abilities and interests, are invited to play ensembles, with drop-in coaching by professionals in a fun, supportive environment, aimed at players who don't earn the majority of their living playing the bass. Please fill out and this Survey if you wish to participate in midday ensemble sessions.
